Mr Whittingham-Jones is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of hip and knee surgery. He completed his training with sub-specialist years in St Georges, Tooting, the RNOH, Stanmore and The Ottawa Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario. His practice covers a wide range of problems, including issues with the joints, bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles. He also treats traumatic injuries such as fractures, dislocations and other soft tissue injuries. He will always take the time to explain things clearly and logically to help a patient reach informed decisions about their treatment.
Hip and Knee replacements. All aspects of Hip and Knee surgery, from minor issues, sports injuries to ligament reconstruction and arthroscopy of the hip and knee, for issues such as Femoro-Acetabular Impingement (FAI) to Total Hip and Total Knee replacement.
Paul lives locally. He is married to a local GP and has two children. He enjoys being outdoors, spending time cycling, motorcycling and walking the dog.
Paul is straight-talking and strives to ensure the patient understands any condition as well as the options available.
A multi-disciplinary approach is key to his practice and any challenging cases are discussed with a range of colleagues in a weekly meeting. He continues to achieve excellent results as visible on the National Joint Registry and performs well over the national average number of hip and knee replacements each year.
