Mr. Jallali is a Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon and is on the GMC specialist register. He was formerly the head of Department of Plastic Surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London since 2013. Mr. Jallali is one of UK’s leading Plastic surgeons specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Mr. Jallali studied Medicine at Bristol University, qualifying with honours as a result of his outstanding academic achievements. He was awarded the University of Bristol Silver medal. He was also awarded the highly prestigious Suple prize in Surgery and the Suple prize in Medicine as the best student. He also won the coveted Mary Edith Evans Medal in Anatomy as an undergraduate. Mr. Jallali has trained in the best teaching Hospital in the UK and also undertook a period of training in Australia and Los Angeles.
Mr. Jallai is a leading surgical tutor in charge of the highly respected microsurgical training post at Charing Cross Hospital. He has trained a number of distinguished Surgeons who have become Consultants in the UK as well as Sweden, Greece and Holland. Mr. Jallali is a very keen and productive academic and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications including the prestigious British Medical Journal. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2008 for his pioneering research in tissue-engineering which was carried out in collaboration with the Massachusetts’s institute of technology, Harvard, USA. Mr. Jallali is heavily involved in training future Plastic Surgeons. He examines undergraduates and postgraduates regularly. He is the course organiser of the highly regarded Imperial College FRCS (Plast) revision course and has been awarded the ‘best speaker’ prize on several occasions.
Mr. Jallali’s expertise is called upon regularly by the outside media. He has appeared on Channel 5’s Botched up bodies and was the Plastic Surgery advisor to the BBC’s Holby City programme. He has also served as an expert witness in GMC hearings and is a council member of the Royal Society of medicine.
Mr Jallali has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon for over 10 years. He is passionate about his work and always tries to deliver the highest level of care for his patients. His practice is friendly and approachable and he aims to provide the best level of aftercare for all his patients. Mr Jallali enjoys keeping fit and cycles regularly. His other interests include golf, music and travelling.
